Positions: Media Interns (2 persons)

Description: The Media Interns shall act as liaisons between the Cathedral of Praise Church members and the Media/Content Approval team. They shall be responsible for drafting email blasts, creating PowerPoints, completing small research assignments, and social media account management. In addition, they are responsible for reporting accurate social media reports and assisting with online event set-up.

Duties Assigned:

  • Assist with church eblast/newsletter and distribute as needed

  • Draft content for external communications and social networking platforms

  • Proof, review, and edit content

  • Contribute to and regularly update platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other community sites

  • Contribute to content creation

  • Deliver assets to media team members

  • Develop templates

  • Set up Eventbrite pages

  • Complete minor website content updates

  • Prepare weekly social media reports

  • Attend weekly / biweekly meetings as needed

  • Other duties assigned




Education and experience:

  • High School Diploma

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, business or management (preferred)


Estimated work hours:

  • 4-6 hours/week (may shift due to workload)



Preferred skills:

  • Strong computer skills

  • Digital  media savvy

  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment

  • Familiar with the following programs

  • MAC and PC Based Software (Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, iMovie)

  • Canva

  • Wix

  • Eventbrite

  • Groupme

  • Mailchimp
